Our Statement of Purpose
We believe families and professionals should be able to see exactly how Better Days Care is run. Our key documents and policies are available below.
Regulated by the Care Inspectorate Wales
Better Days Care is registered with and regulated by the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW), the independent body responsible for inspecting and reporting on care services in Wales to make sure they meet national standards.
What our Statement of Purpose covers
Every registered care service in Wales must publish a Statement of Purpose — a formal document setting out exactly what the service offers and how it operates. Ours includes:
- Our aims, objectives and approach to care
- Who we support, and the range of needs we can meet
- Details of our home, facilities and staffing
- How we manage safeguarding and complaints
- Our fees and funding arrangements
How to raise a concern
We'd rather hear about a problem early. Here's how it works if you need to raise one.
Speak to us directly
Most concerns are resolved quickly by talking to a member of staff or the Registered Manager.
Put it in writing
If it isn't resolved, or you'd prefer, put your concern in writing. We'll acknowledge it and investigate following our Complaints Procedure.
Escalate to CIW
If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Care Inspectorate Wales directly to raise your concern with them.
